An About Post???

I don't really remember how to use dreamwidth from my pre-tumblr livejournal days, and I'm about to follow a whole bunch of folks, so in order not to appear to be a spambot or a total creep, I figured I should probably make a post to this journal. I don't anticipate posting very much because once I get home from work my ability to string together several consecutive complete sentences is incredibly limited, but you can find my pithier musings at streptomycinn.tumblr.com. I'm 28. I've been in fandom since 1997. The major fandoms of my adult life have been Yugioh: Duel Monsters (the only series I've ever written fic for), Les Miserables, a solid 5 years as a hot piece of Thorki trash, Animorphs, a quick 3 month jog through ATLA roughly a decade late, and most recently, the Magicians. I'm a medical resident (internal medicine --> infectious disease fellowship, hence why my tumblr is called streptomycinn, I'm clever). I'm on the west coast of the US currently but Chicago is and always will be home. I'm Here, Queer, and Full of Existential Fear. I'm Very Tired.
